Since the beginning of establishment in 1377 till now the
research and development department of Razi Petrochemical co. has made 61
researching projects conclusion contracts.
In this relation, it has continued collaboration with different researching
centers like universities such as: Sharif university of Technology, Science and
Technology university, Shiraz university, Isfahan university of Technology,
university of Petroleum Industry and so on ?. And also Research Institute of
Petroleum Industry and different researching companies such as: Research
Institute of Petroleum Industry and different researching companies such as:
Andishvaran Consultant Engineers, Process and Material Innovation and ?. Complex
personnel.
Altogether, from the 61 concluded contracts, about 35 projects have completed
and the other 26 projects are in performing phase.

The most important achievements of performed researching projects are as
follow:
1- CHANGING THE DAP FERTILIZER FORMULATION AND ASP FERTILIZER
PRODUCTION
By performing this researching project, a part of country?s need to ammonium
Sulfate has obviated and also because of decreasing the phosphate soil
importing
It has prevented 22 million dollars flight of currency and it has been used
the Excess potential of sulfuric acid units production and also the cost of new
production Toward the DAP has been decreased.
2- OPTIMIZING THE OPERATION OF NEW WATER TREATMENT CLARIFIER
OPERATION
Lime omitting in new water treatment unit and also omitting the lime
and soda ash in raw water clarifier units and substituting the caustic caused to
decrease the raw water hardness and to omit 80% of outlet raw water calcium and
caused to produce a kind of water with extra low hardness.
It has been caused to decrease the scaling risk of calcium mixtures in
membranes, cooling towers and heat exchangers about nearly 400%. The minimum
economies of performing this project are 7,500,276,960 rials per year.
3- CHANGING THE PHOSPHATE SOIL PATH
By performing this project a new path is made and designed for phosphate soil
transportation that prevents soil losses and environmental pollution.
The economies of performing this project is 753,343 dollars per year
4- CONCIDERATION OF RUBBER REPLACEMENT WITH OTHER SUITABLE COATS
By performing the mentioned project a pilot has been made and designed for
internal coats test in corrosion environment conditions and under different
temperatures statically and dynamically that its major use is for testing the
replacement samples in the complex.
