Description
Contract Code: 80/097
101-C in ammonia unit are Bayonet type which produce more than 33% of high pressure steam of units (approximate pressure is 40 bar). This exchangers are in the way of secondary reformer outlet hot gases and their basic function in these units are process gas heat recovery. Steam drum circulating water with approximate temperature of 254 C is transferred to this exchangers tubes via Down Commer and after exchanging the heat with hot gases, it gets back from risers to steam drum on the basis of thermosifonic. During this operation, gas temperature decreases from 1000 C to 370 C.
In this exchangers critical processing conditions (high temperature – high pressure) and rational damageability of their mechanical structure against the unwanted processing conditions, it necessitates preventing the premature failure of tubes by recognizing destructive factors lead to complete stop of production abundant looses.
