Gübre Fabrikaları Turk Anonim Şirketi was founded in 1953 to provide fertilizers to Turkish Agricultural Sector. Gübre Fabrikaları has always been the pioneer in his sector. After establishing the first chemical fertilizer plant, Gübretaş produced the first compound and the first phosphours based fertilizers. During its journey of a half century, Gübre Fabrikaları adopted the motto of "continuous development" and was always among the biggest industrial corporations in Turkey.

With its strong financial structure and high credibility, Gübre Fabrikaları could obtain various products and raw materials from the various countries in the world. With its Gübretaş trade mark name, Gübre Fabrikaları could reach the consumers through 2800 distribution points in Turkey. According to the statistics of 2007 our market share is about 27%.

Gübre Fabrikaları continues its journey with the vision to become 'a giant trade mark in the world and the pioneer in Turkey'. In order to achieve this target Gübre Fabrikaları adopted a new policy to invest in raw material rich countries. Hence, a consortium led by Gübre Fabrikaları has acquired the Razi Petrochemical Company in Iran. Being the biggest industrial foreign investment of Turkey, this enterprise is a giant step towards achieving our goal to become a global player. Moreover, we continue our searh to invest and cooperate in phosphate rich countries.

After completing this giant foreign investment project, Gübre Fabrikaları promptly has taken a place in international sea forwarding sector and has become one of the senior partners of newly established company named as "Negmar".

Along with the chemical fertilizers, Gübre Fabrikaları also entered the pesticide sector which is an important input for the agriculture. Gübre Fabrikaları has the facilities in which the plant protechting products are produced.
